MyNextWine

Wine Finder for Shopify and WooCommerce

Most wine websites work well when customers know what they want. MyNextWine is for everyone else.

In four quick questions, turn “I need six bottles for €100, mostly red, with something for steak and a gift” into a complete, explained selection from your own available wines—ready to add to your basket.

Turn “I’m not sure” into a complete selection

Give shoppers useful online guidance when staff are unavailable, without sending them away from your store.

01

Four questions capture bottle count, total budget and colour mix, plus grapes, regions, styles, dislikes, meals, gifts and occasions.

02

Build a selection that fits

The finder considers the entire basket together, using only available wines from your catalogue. Every choice—and any compromise—is explained.

03

Let the shopper take it from there

They can inspect the bottles, swap one without starting again, remove any they do not want and add the selection to your basket. No account or email gate; your customer, checkout and payment stay with you.

Wine Finder FAQ

The practical questions we would ask before putting anything new on our own shop.

What does the Wine Finder actually do?

It asks the shopper four short questions about bottle mix, budget, preferred styles and food. It then builds a selection from your mapped, available wines, explains the picks and lets the shopper swap or remove individual bottles before adding the selection to your basket.

Will it recommend wines that we do not sell?

No. Recommendations are limited to eligible wines mapped to your connected catalogue and reported as available. Your product page, basket and checkout remain the final source of truth for price, quantity and stock.

What needs to happen before we can switch it on?

First, the store is connected and the complete eligible catalogue is synchronised. MyNextWine then maps or reviews those wines. The trial and storefront controls unlock only when the catalogue is ready, so a new store does not start paying while that first preparation is still under way.

What happens when we add, remove or sell out of a wine?

The connected catalogue is kept in sync. A new wine must be mapped before it can be recommended, and removed or unavailable products are taken out of the recommendation pool when the change is processed. The basket and checkout still perform the final live validation.

Can we make it look and sound like our own service?

Yes. You can use your own image, heading, introduction, launcher text, position and colours. The finder can also inherit your storefront theme so it feels like a natural part of the shop rather than a separate site.

Who owns the customer and who takes the payment?

You do. The shopper stays on your site and checks out with your store. You remain the seller of record and continue to handle payment, age checks, delivery, fulfilment, returns and customer support. MyNextWine does not use Wine Finder answers to market directly to your shoppers.

What shopper and order data does MyNextWine receive?

The finder does not ask the shopper for a name, email address or account. It processes their answers, technical security information and the wines recommended or selected. The Shopify app does not request customer or completed order access. For WooCommerce, attributed order reporting sends the order ID, totals and Wine Finder line items, but not the customer's name, contact details or payment card details.

Are the recommendations made by a person?

The storefront recommendations are automated and may be AI assisted. They use the shopper's answers, your catalogue, mapped wine information, price and reported availability. Wine taste is subjective, so the finder explains its choices and lets the shopper change them.

How much does it cost?

Shopify includes 14 days free, then EUR 29.99 every 30 days through Shopify billing. WooCommerce includes 14 days free, then EUR 29.99 per month through Stripe, plus tax where applicable. There is no commission, usage charge or per-order fee.

Does it guarantee more sales?

No honest tool can promise that. The Wine Finder is designed to make a large or unfamiliar catalogue easier to shop. Aggregate activity and attributed outcomes can show how it is being used, but there is no guarantee of a particular conversion rate, order value or revenue result.

Can we turn it off or cancel?

Yes. You control whether the Wine Finder is visible in your storefront. Shopify billing is managed through Shopify, while WooCommerce subscription management is handled through Stripe. The applicable merchant terms explain cancellation timing and any charge already incurred.
